1. About this site

EmergencyDentistNearMe.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent directory that helps people find emergency and NHS/private dental practices near them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the NHS, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), or the General Dental Council (GDC). By using this site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Not medical advice

This site provides directory information only — it is not medical or dental advice, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are experiencing a genuine dental or medical emergency (for example, severe swelling affecting your breathing or swallowing, or an injury with heavy bleeding), call 999 or go to A&E immediately. For urgent (non-life-threatening) dental problems in the UK, call NHS 111.

3. Accuracy of listings

We make reasonable efforts to keep practice listings (opening hours, contact details, NHS/private status) accurate and up to date, but details can change without notice and we cannot guarantee accuracy at all times. See our Our Data Sources page for how listings are compiled, and our Corrections page if you’d like to report an error.

4. Commercial relationships

Some listings or links on this site may be commercial (for example, sponsored placements or affiliate links). See our Commercial Disclosure page for details. A commercial relationship does not affect the accuracy of the information we provide.

5. Practice Listings (Paid Subscriptions)

Dental practices can claim a free listing or purchase a paid Standard or Pro Listing subscription, billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, matching your chosen plan) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via our Contact Us page; your listing remains at its current tier until the end of the period already paid for, then reverts to the Free tier. Billing, payment processing, and refund terms for paid listings are set out in our Refund Policy.

Paid listings are available to the practice being listed, or an authorised representative acting on its behalf. By claiming or upgrading a listing, you confirm you are authorised to manage that practice’s profile on the Site, and you grant us a licence to display the business information, content, and any logo or images you provide for your listing. We may suspend or remove a paid listing’s enhanced features (reverting it to Free) if payment is not received or if content you’ve provided breaches Section 6 (Acceptable use).

6. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party websites and services — including individual dental practice websites and ride-booking services such as Uber. We don’t control these third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data. Using them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this site — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale without permission, or submit false or malicious information through any of our forms.

8. Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, and compiled directory content are owned by us or our licensors, except where a listed practice’s own content or trademarks appear, which remain their property.

9. Limitation of liability

We provide this site on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on information found on it, including outdated listing details or the actions of any third-party practice or service you contact through the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
