Our Data Sources

We build and maintain this directory using the following public sources, not by scraping other commercial directories:

– Care Quality Commission (CQC) — England’s dental practice regulator. We use their public API to identify active, CQC-registered practices, including location, contact details and inspection rating, published under the Open Government Licence.
– NHS Digital — practice-level identifying information for general dental practices in England, Wales and the Isle of Man.
– General Dental Council (GDC) register — used to verify that a named dentist associated with a claimed listing is legally entitled to practise.

Every listing reflects information sourced directly from these official public registers, or provided and confirmed by the practice itself once they’ve claimed their profile. Found something wrong? You can report it on our Corrections page.
